I’ve been making sweet mung bean soup this summer. Sometimes it came out OK and many times it did not. Did not as in there was no soup and it was all beans. In addition a couple of times the mung bean spilled out of the inner pot and into the Tatung Multi cooker. That was a nightmare to clean.
Here’s my recipe that seems to work:
- slightly less than 1 cup of mung bean. Wash, soak for at least 30 min
- For inner pot fill up to 6 cup water line
- 2 cups of water in the cooker.
- Rock sugar (optional)
This mixture came out nicely, 3/4 cooked green bean and 1/4 of it water.
